Sadhguru has explained that if one learns to align one's physical geometry with the cosmic geometry, knowing the reality of existence will become a natural phenomenon within oneself. Precision in one’s asanas, or postures, is essential. These sessions offer tremendous support to refine one’s practice, which may slowly lose form over time.

The Angamardana Guided Practice is being organized for the benefit of people who have previously learned Angamardana.  For optimal balance and peak performance, we welcome you to refresh, fine-tune and deepen your practice under the guidance of an Isha Hatha Yoga teacher.

Please note that this is a guided practice session. For those who have discontinued their practice and wish to retake the full course, you may find our upcoming sessions here.

Program Guidelines & session information

  • Due to the nature of the practices, we request you to maintain an empty stomach condition when you come for the session. There should be a gap of:
    • 4 hours from the last full meal,
    • 2.5 hours from the last snack,
    • 1.5 hours from the last beverage (excluding water)
  • Due to the nature of this practice, there are some precautions. People who fall under any of the below categories are not eligible to participate at this time
    • Women who are currently pregnant
    • Anyone who has had a major open surgery in the last 6 months
    • Anyone who has had laproscopic surgery within the last 6 weeks
  • Please make sure you arrive at least 10 minutes ahead of time, as we may not be able to accommodate latecomers.
  • It is recommended to wear comfortable (loose) clothing.
  • Bring a yoga mat with you, and a cushion if needed as we will be sitting on the floor.
  • As we strive to minimize waste, we recommend bringing a refillable water bottle with you. Refill stations are available.
